We are looking for a motivated and qualified Advertising Sales Representative to join our energetic and thriving marketing agency.


JOB SUMMARY This is a ground floor, high growth position that will allow you to carve out your own path, develop and nurture clients and manage accounts. You like the thrill of the chase, wanting to make cold calls, network and pursue sales opportunities. You are creative and can find ways to solve problems and love the adrenaline that comes when you can stitch things together. As well, you are motivated by your earning potential and want to see the rewards of your hard work.

This is a commission only position. The commission plan is very generous and has an opportunity for bonuses.

POSITION OVERVIEW The Media Sales Specialist sells an established portfolio of niche advertising. While pounding the pavement is important, the successful candidate will be foremost a relationship builder. This position is commission based with a guaranteed draw for three months. The sky’s the limit. You’ll go as far as your determination, knowledge and enthusiasm can take you!
  • Acquires new clients from an assigned geography or prospect list
  • Leads all aspects of the sales process; scheduling appointments, creating proposals and follow up
  • Sells a subset of agency products and services to assigned opportunities
  • Maintain and update CRM to identify opportunities
  • Assist other sales and service resources when required
  • Achieves assigned sales quota and client acquisition targets
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
  • Business to business sales experience and asset
  • Self-motivated
  • Relationship driven; networking, negotiating and customer service skills
  • Prior sales record, preferably in business to business sales
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
